Facilitating Deep Democracy
June 7 @ 10:00 am - June 9 @ 4:30 pm AEST$470
Join us for this three-day training intensive in process-oriented group facilitation as developed by Dr Arnold Mindell.
This training is for people who want to deepen their facilitation work with groups. The process-oriented approach brings a sophisticated understanding of group dynamics applicable to all kinds of groups, communities, and organisations and is particularly useful for supporting complex decision-making tasks, difficult conflicts, and collective change processes. The approach can be applied in corporate, not-for-profit, government, and community group contexts.
“Democratic methods, rules, and laws alone do not create a sense of community. Rules and laws may govern mechanical systems, but not people. The new paradigm … acknowledges that organizations are partially mechanical beings…and also living organisms whose lifeblood is composed of feelings, beliefs, and dreams.” Arnold Mindell
