Four Practice-Based Weekends
In Melbourne in 2019
6 pm Friday night to Sunday 5pm
How would you like to…
- Spend time at the deep interface of what it means to be human; on a regular basis; with a group of like-minded, fabulous people while you train your awareness and attention, and your capacity to truly follow yourself and others deeply?
- Learn about yourself as a facilitator; who you are, your particular style, your strengths and exactly where you are growing and how to do it.
- Understand and practice the skills of a model that is intuitive, natural, and extraordinarily effective – Process Oriented Psychology.
- Discover what following the process means in practice, and develop the skills and feeling attitudes that work best when attempting to follow someone’s process.
- Isolate useful and usable skills that can enhance and expand your everyday life, and your work.
All of this within a workshop full of direct experience, case consultation, and live supervision facilitated by Susan.
We will alternate between working with each other as “clients” in the middle of the group and receiving direct personal supervision, and working with Susan on a case that you are involved with. The case may be an individual client, a couple, group, organisation, or an artistic or community-based project. As the need arises, theoretical training, working in pairs or triads, video analysis, and guided inner work may occur. Your participation in the events in the group is completely voluntary and sometimes simply observing will be right for you.

Some Testimonials from previous Melbourne Courses
“This training is quite extraordinary – while we are committed to training primarily, rather than personal growth, a lot of the latter also occurs. Many tears, and deep processes. The group has stability and a great level of trust, and it is a joy for me to be part of it.”
Guy, GP and Counselor
“Susan has taught me that to be comfortable with only knowing what I know, when I know it, at any point in time and that criticising myself after the event can be self- abuse.”
“I learnt a lot about myself as a therapist in these workshops – when to push, and when not to; noticing a clients signals; and the sessions on how to work with abuse were beautifully framed.”
Julia, Counselor, Pilates Teacher, Medical Practitioner
“Susan is a role model of integrity, universal love and acceptance. She sets the standard for teachers of awareness and therapeutic practice and I no longer settle for anything less.”
Liz, Psychotherapist, Trainer, Facilitator
From Susan’s Finding Purpose and Meaning Workshops:
Susan routinely offers a world-class level of skill, perception, facilitation, experience, and modeling of anything she teaches. In this workshop she added in a vulnerability and responsiveness to group signals and world signals, and profound honoring of her own calling and beliefs. The result was an extremely well thought out structuring of elements that facilitated profound insight and transformation for many participants and me. What I got from this will shape the rest of my life, and I’m humbled to have been a part of it.
Anne Hunter, Relationships Coach
This training was the most valuable I have ever received in six years of psychology studies and a lifetime of personal development. I am privileged to learn from Susan who is a master in the field of Process Oriented Psychology. Susan held a space for every participant in this workshop to have deep, integrative experiences. This workshop enabled me to finally resolve a deep childhood trauma. It liberated me to (at last) connect to my meaning and purpose. My life has profoundly changed and I left full of joy, excitement and resolve to put these skills into practice.
